Multiple graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked. That would be tested on the PC gaming wise relative towards graphics card performance with the latest AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers. We take a look at Anno 1800 our usual in-depth ways.

AMD has not issued an optimized driver just yet, and unfortunately, we have to immediately say that shows as well, the Radeon is not doing well at this time with the current 19.4.1 compared to what NVIDIA is pushing performance wise. This, however, is a preview, we have no doubt that AMD will get an up-to-snuff driver increasing performance, and obviously, we'll update again with the final game. NVIDIA already released a compatible and optimized Anno 1800 driver, which really shows in perf. We start today with an early preview of Anno 1800, for the public beta we feel the game is 98% finished, with perhaps a few small changes upcoming week at launch. Anno 1800 is looking to be something very promising, the game has had a nice graphics overhaul with DX11 and DX12 support alongside a nice set of image quality options. So the bigger your cities get, the more taxing the game will be on its performance. If you load up Uplay or the Epic game launch at this very moment (this weekend) you can load up a free trial and test out Anno 1800. We took it for a spin, the game is among the hardest games to measure because if your city and inhabitant numbers increase it will have an effect on your CPU and framerate.
